CONGRESS WHO?

9/29/2008
Nancy Pelosi does it again, just had to criticize the administration and Republicans prior to a crucial vote when she needed to be non partisan. I question her ability as a leader if she thought this was a good idea. She thinks she gets more flies with vinegar than honey. Well let me tell you from being an old farm family member she can also get flies with manure but I would not recommend it.

I am against these socialist moves in Congress and hope the next try will be to solve the problem with solutions that involve not making the fox in charge of the hen house.
Where are Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton when you need them?

God bless our country and protect us from these people who are supposed to be representing us with wisdom and honor. We must think about our country and its survival and who we want to represent us and who is deserving of our votes.

Time for the best to step up and be counted.

LIES BEING TOLD IN CONGRESS

The Clinton administration made banks able to lend with no credit worthiness and in fact said it would enforce penalties for not following the policy.

Barney Frank pressured banks into making these unqualified loans. (they all are to blame).

All liberals thought it was a good idea to give these loans out to people who they knew would not be able to pay back. Makes them feel good and gets them votes from the masses. Now we will pay for those feel good ideas.

Give them something for nothing, now the chickens come home to roost.

Liberals no matter what their affiliation are responsible for this collapse. Greed and kick backs in the form of low interest mortgages to Congressional people and their families are obvious even though they will say there was nothing wrong. These snake oil salesmen.

There are so many wrongs here that it would be funny if it was not so tragic.

Vote them all out and start new.

NO BALE OUT - TRY THIS INSTEAD

NOT MY ORIGINAL IDEA, BUT PASSING IT ON

SORRY THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS TO ME DID THE MATH WRONG.

(STILL A GOOD IDEA JUST ONLY $425.00 EACH)

(ORIGINAL MAIL)

I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.

Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 toAmerica in a We Deserve It Dividend.
To make the math simple, let's assume there are200,000,000 bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+.
Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18and up..
So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon thatequals $425,000.00.
My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as aWe Deserve It Dividend. Of course, it would NOT be tax free.
So let's assume a tax rate of 30%. Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes. That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam. But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in theirpocket. A husband and wife has $595,000.00.What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in yourfamily? Pay off your mortgage – housing crisis solved. Repay college loans – what a great boost to new grads Put away money for college – it'll be there Save in a bank – create money to loan to entrepreneurs. Buy a new car – create jobs Invest in the market – capital drives growth Pay for your parent's medical insurance – health careimproves Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean – or else Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every othercompany that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving inour Armed Forces. If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really doit...instead of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( 'vote buy' ) economic incentive thatis being proposed by one of our candidates for President. If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bailout every adult U S Citizen 18+! As for AIG – liquidate it. Sell off its parts. Let American General go back to being American General. Sell off the real estate. Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and cleanit up. Here's my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn't. Sure it's a crazy idea that can 'never work.' But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party! How do you spell Economic Boom?
I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the$85 Billion We Deserve It Dividend more than I do the geniuses at AIGor in Washington DC . And remember, The Family plan only really costs $59.5Billion because $25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.
Ahhh...I feel so much better getting that off my chest. Kindest personal regards,A Creative Guy & Citizen of theRepublic !PS: Feel free to pass this along to your pals as it'seither good for a laugh or a tear or a very sobering thought on how to best use $85Billion!!
