ROYALTY IS STILL ALIVE IN THE USA, I THOUGHT WE FOUGHT A WAR TO END ROYALTY IN AMERICA.
I do not know Caroline Kennedy other than she is a rich person worth over 100 million dollars thanks to her mothers second marriage and connections to the Kennedy family whose original money came from the sale of liquor on the probation era.
I do not know of any qualifications she has to be a Congress person other than she would fit in with the bunch of clowns we already have there. Congress is becoming its own regal family unto itself already.
I am sure she has given time to various organizations and because of her name she has had various titles that are given to her not because of her abilities but because of her name recognition. She is probably an extremely nice person who even without her money would be a good friend and companion. However it is painfully obvious that she is a person of privilege who did not see the need to vote in elections. I am sure she walks around thinking everyone who meets her should show a reasonable amount of awe just to be in her presence.
I do not know if she has ever had to go through what any of us working class people have had to endure like finding a job necessary for our survival or worry where our next meal was coming from or if we will ever have enough saved to retire or have enough set aside for a catastrophes that might be inflicted on us.
She will not get the pass that Obama got from the press or should say she will not get as much of a pass as Obama got because she would not be viewed as a Messiah. I do not think she would be viewed as the Virgin Mary either, I could be wrong now as Monk would say.
Of course I am just cynical enough to believe that Mickey Mouse, Pluto and Donald Duck could be elected to top government posts and could do just as well as who we now have in office.
Since our country is becoming a Socialist nation and elects people based on their charisma not qualifications I quess we will get more of what we deserve.
God bless us and help us to survive as a country in spite of ourselves.

Barack Obama announced a five-person energy and environmental team setting a top goal of breaking the nation’s dependence on foreign oil while boosting economic growth “ something he said requires a sustained, all-hands-on-deck effort.” “For over three decades, we’ve listened to a growing chorus of warnings about our energy dependence, “ Obama said. “This time has to be different. This time we cannot fail.” Energy secretary, Steven Chu, A Nobel prize winning physicist who is director of the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. Chu will control more than 100,000 employees and a $23 billion budget.
SAY GOODBYE TO OFF SHORE DRILLING AND OTHER GOOD IDEAS FOR THE “GREEN POLICE” HAVE THEIR TICKET BOOKS IN THEIR BACK POCKET.
I believe Al Gore is in heaven and will make money hand over fist in the Obama green team policies. The lie about global warming is getting extreme advocates in the new administration.
Tell a lie long enough and it becomes the truth. Pay off scientists by giving those who agree with your lie to get grants for their research. Call those who disagree with you quacks and see that no funding ever goes to them to prove you wrong. You never hear from those who disagree because most of the press is in the tank for these green advocates.
Hold on to your wallets as everything green will cost everyone it touches a lot of money. Collapse big business with regulations and get your Socialist agenda moving with lightning speed while you have the new “green team” on your side with employees and money in hand to do as they will.
With each passing day we will find so many things (made up) that hurt the environment or cause global warming that need your money thrown at solutions with the “GREEN POLICE” TO ENFORCE NEW RULES AND REGULATIONS.

CHICAGO POLITICS HAS NOT CHANGED MUCH
Governor Blagojevich of Illinois appeared before a federal judge on 12/9/2008 on corruption charges. U.S. Magistrate Judge Nan Nolan set a $4,500 personal-recognizance bond. If convicted he will be the third governor in a row to be put in prison. Something like 70 Illinois office holders have been found guilty over the past fifty years. I think it is a record or at least near the top.
Is it possible that our president elect had no contact with the governor as to who will fill his seat?
I think it is not possible that he or one of his compadres did not talk to the governor about the appointment to fill Obama’s Senate seat.
“I had no contact with the governor or his office and so I was not aware of what was happening, “ Obama told reporters. I hope that this is true.
Can anyone coming out of this type of politics with ties to Rezko be untainted by corruption? I believe that it would be the rare person who could receive advise and money from him and others of his ilk to remain uncompromised.
I think this is the tip of the iceberg and more arrests are to come. We will see who tries to cover up and who stonewalls the investigation.
God bless the prosecution and keep them safe from reprisals.

A LITTLE GOOD NEWS

FINALLY SOME GOOD NEWS ABOUT CONGRESS
WE CAN THANK GOD THAT THE CONGRESS IS NOT FILIBUSTER PROOF. With the election of the congressman from Georgia the Democrats fall one short of a filibuster proof Congress.
Now if we can get the Conservatives that are left to stick together against some of Pelosi and Reed extreme liberal ideas we have a chance of weathering the upcoming four years.
Obama wants to close our Cuban detention facilities because of torture. He thinks they should be set free in the USA and have representation to be tried in US courts. What a joke. Let them all live in Chicago near William Ayers so they have someone to pal around with for a while.
The coal industry will be out of business by the end of the Obama administration. Off shore drilling will be dead except to Russia and Cuba. Taxes are going up under Obama and he will spread the wealth around as he has promised. The economy will continue to tank if he does raise taxes. He will allow the Bush tax cuts to expire and not be renewed which will raise you taxes and not look like (or be called) the tax hike that it is really. After all it raises your taxes automatically by letting it expire.
You know when the election was over and voters were asked questions about why they voted and general questions, the average voter did not know any of Obama’s policys except HE WAS FOR CHANGE. I am for change as well but not what Obama thinks change is. Bring in the old Clinton administration, change our government to a Socialist government, do not build nuclear power plants, do not drill off shore oil, do not make shale into gas, make the courts rule on liberal ideas and not the law by appointing judges that want to make new law and not interpret the law, be nice to terrorists so they will like us and so many other changes that will make most of us sick. THIS IS NOT THE CHANGE I WANT.
Well you do get what you vote for and wish for when you do not find out the details of a candidate.
I hope and pray for the best but I can not help to think about the Messiah in the Bible that comes as a man of peace (a deceiver) for seven years of which his true positions do not come out for the first three and one half of those years.
God give us strength to get through the next years.
