CHANGE - YES WE CAN
WELL WE HAVE SOME IDEA WHAT OBAMA MEANT BY CHANGE.
His first choice is a long time Washington insider and good old boy from Chicago strong arm politics Rahm (“Rhambo”) Emanuel as his chief of staff. Rep. Emanuel (D-Ill.), a former Clinton administration adviser nicknamed "Rahmbo," is in charge of the White House. He is known for a sharp mind and sharp elbows. Paul Begala another big politico is a friend and fan of Emanuel has described him as a take no prisoners approach as a "cross between a hemorrhoid and a toothache." Rahm is known as a highly partisan and a enforcer with a highly charged temper.
SO MUCH FOR BIPARTISAN AND CHANGE.
OBAMA took the stage on his first news conference with a stage full of advisors who strangely were mostly old Clinton appointees and advisors. Some of which were part of the problem in our financial problems. Check out the names and see the connections to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and bank failures.
For his economic meeting, Obama is brought out former Clinton Treasury Secretary Bob Rubin, former Clinton Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers, Warren Buffett (BY speakerphone), former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker, former Clinton Commerce Secretary William Daley, former Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich, Google CEO and Chairman Eric Schmidt, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, and L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Judge for yourself, does this look like change and something new?
Have you notice the talking heads that could find no wrong with Obama prior to his election are now saying he is an unknown quantity. Fine time to discover that minor fact that everyone knew but would not talk about in the in the tank media for Obama.
Do not get me wrong, I want Obama to be the best President ever for the sake of the USA. We need change not the same old people doing the same old things.
I look forward to his picks to fill his cabinet positions and etc. So far the names I am hearing do not represent change but time will tell. Of course if you feel Clinton friends and Chicago politicos are change then we are going to be in good shape.
God bless the USA.
