I DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR ? ? ? ?

I [NAME], do solemnly swear.

According to Title 28, Chapter I, Part 453 of the United States Code, each Supreme Court Justice takes the following oath:

"I, [NAME], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as [TITLE] under the Constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God."

Obama wants a nominee to the Supreme Court to accept the premise that judges should look to sources other than the plain text of the Constitution and its original meaning. Obama has also said the Justice should use "empathy" as a standard or some other subjective standard to consider constitutional law would be appropriate.

Thereby a nominee will be able to read his or her own ideology into the plain text of the Constitution.

Obama thinks the poor should be favored over the rich in decisions and these type of considerations are proper. Well how about being fair and impartial in your decisions?

DOES ANY OF THESE LIBERAL FASCIST IDEAS FLY IN THE FACE OF THE SWORN OBLIGATION TAKE BY THE JUSTICES AS STATED ABOVE?

President Obama announced Sonia Sotomayor as his nominee to replace Justice David Souter on the U.S. Supreme Court. At first blush, she fits perfectly into Obama’s idea of a law maker instead of a law interrupter.

Judge Sotomayor's statements about judges being policymakers, and whether judges can be objective in most cases, and her statement that the ethnicity of some judges somehow makes them better at doing their job than judges of different ethnicity give me cause to question her views on judging which must be carefully and fully explained at the confirmation hearings. (however with the 60 vote majority by the Democrats I doubt that it will make a difference even if she says she will make laws based only on her experiences not the Constitution”

IF SHE TAKES THE OATH IT SHOULD BE “I, [NAME], do solemnly LIE”.

HOW FAR WILL OBAMA BE ALLOWED TO INFLICT HIS UNCONSTITUTIONAL FACIST AND SOCIALIST IDEAS ON AMERICA?
